Malvina Miller Consulting
Write your story rather than inherit it.
I coach people moving from one professional identity to another. If you are a senior leader, or someone whose role has stopped fitting the person inside it, you have probably had plenty of advice already. What you need is a way to see the story you are living and decide what to carry forward. My practice draws on psychoanalytic thinking, narrative identity and adult development.
I grew up between France and the United States, belonging fully to neither, and later made my life in the United Kingdom. That taught me that identity is never fixed and that the most honest work happens in the space between who we were and who we are becoming. I write about that space in The Ache and the Awe, a fortnightly letter, and in a book in progress.
In the last ten years alone I have held more than a thousand coaching sessions with leaders, MBA and Executive MBA candidates, at Harvard Business School, Imperial Business School, Cambridge Judge Business School and in private practice. Before coaching I led recruiting and talent development at L'Oréal USA.
In our work together, you'll find space to think clearly about who you are and who you're becoming. We'll work with what you're actually experiencing, not what you think you should be experiencing.

The Ache and the Awe
In twenty years of coaching people through transitions, few arrive in crisis. More often the life is good by every measure and has stopped being true. Most have no name for that state, only the sense that the ground has moved.
The Ache and the Awe is a fortnightly letter for people in the middle of becoming. Each month brings one essay on the inner landscape of change and a companion letter of reading and practice. New readers should start with When the Ground Shifts.
