FAQs

Are the sessions in-person or online?

1

Individual coaching takes place online, or in person in London by arrangement. Workshops and coaching for business schools run on campus or online, as the school prefers. Sponsored executive coaching is online, with in-person sessions in London by arrangement.

What time zone are you in?

I am based in London, UK. BST in the summer time and GMT the rest of the year.

How do I know if I am ready for coaching?

3

You do not need to have things figured out before we begin. Many of the people I work with come precisely because they cannot yet articulate what they are in the middle of. A readiness to reflect honestly and a willingness to sit with uncertainty are more useful starting points than a clear goal.

What makes your approach different from other executive coaches?

4

Most coaching focuses on performance, skills, or strategy. My work goes deeper, into the identity questions that sit underneath those things. Who are you becoming? What stories have you inherited that no longer serve you? What does the next chapter ask of you? If you have done conventional development work and found it thin, this is built for that gap.

Do you work with people outside the UK?

5

Yes. My practice is international and most sessions are online. I have worked with leaders and MBA candidates across Europe, North America, and beyond.

What can I expect from the exploratory call?

6

It is a conversation. Nobody is selling anything. We will talk about what brings you to coaching, where you are, and whether my approach feels like the right fit. You will leave with a clearer sense of how I work, and I will leave with a clearer sense of whether I can be useful to you. There is no obligation either way.

How long does coaching take?

That depends on what you are working on. The Leadership and Identity Intensive is six sessions and works well as a contained, focused engagement. Some clients move into an ongoing monthly partnership after that. Others come for a single intensive period and return at a later threshold. I do not believe in keeping people in coaching longer than is useful.

7

Do you work in French?

Yes. I am fully bilingual in English and French and am happy to work in either language.

8

Do you work with organisations as well as individuals?

9

Yes. Organisations sponsor coaching for leaders in transition. I contract with the sponsor, work with the leader, and keep the two clearly separated. Details are on the Organisations page.

Do you still offer admissions or essay coaching?

10

No. I no longer take admissions clients. My interview work is for professional interviews, from MBA recruiting through to senior appointments.

Do you offer discounts, or single sessions outside a package?

11

No. Prices are per package and the same for everyone, and the StrengthscopeLeader™ assessment is part of the Intensive rather than an extra. The Intensive can be paid in three monthly instalments. I do not sell single ad hoc sessions; clients who want to continue after the Intensive move to the monthly partnership.
